team speak test server

for those interested to try it out

1. download team speak 2 client from http://www.goteamspeak.com/index.php?page=downloads

select the first one with 5.59mb

2. install it

3.start the program and use quick connect

4.server name is 58.185.96.50:8767

5. user name is guest and no password is required

6. once u are in the channel u can see the rest of us, pm someone* with a SA beside his name and ask for register rights.

7. click on self->register with server

8. choose ur username and password

9. click on settings->sound input/output settings
select push to talk and click on set, then press a key (i sugest using the right Alt key as its not use in GE)

*IMPORTANT* push and hold the button when u want to talk , if u do not set push to talk , we will get echo and no one will be able to speak.

Other settings u can make

1. you can turn off the notification of ppl entering and leaving channel
settings->options->sound notifications

2. you can save the server ip and username and password

connection->connect-> right click server and "add server"
fill in the details and make sure u put a nickname

* u can pm someone by right click his name and send text message otherwise pm him in GE

TS server went down at 12.30am due to power trip in my office, i will turn it on when i reach office tomorrow morning. I will consider subscribing to a hosting if we have enough ppl interest in using it.

currently the few host in USA and europe charges around 10 usd per month for 50 users, anyway enjoy the free one i have here until we are ready
